I've been taking photographs since I was a child and spent many years as an enthusiatic amateur photographer
specialising in Portrait, Still Life and Outdoor Photography. I started Spearman Photography after an increasing number of people were asking me to take photographs for them. In 2008 I was asked to photograph my first wedding. Since then my Wedding Photography business has grown steadily to become the main part of my photography services, taking me across Essex and throughout the UK.
In addition to Wedding Photography my Portrait Photography covers Family and Corporate Portraits for home and business, Headshots, and Portfolios for models, actors, dancers and singers. My Event Photography covers Proms, Balls, Parties and Special Occasions. I produce Publicity Photographs for newspapers, brochures and websites, and I photograph Live Shows for theatre/dance groups and bands.
In 2009 I achieved a Licentiate Distinction with the Royal Photographic Society.

Finally, I'm often asked why I called my business Spearman Photography.
The answer is; Barrie means 'a marksman' or 'spearman'.
