I don't usually have a moustache. I grew it in November last year to support Movember 2009 and The Prostate Cancer Charity. My 'Mo' raised over £300, thank you to everyone who supported me.

Hello and thank you for coming to Spearman Photography.
My name is Barrie White-Miller, I'm a Wedding and Portrait photographer based in Essex.
I've been taking photographs since I was a very young, initially using my Dad's hand-me-down Praktica SLR and then my own Praktica. A few years later I bought a Canon EOS 35mm SLR and after I bought my Canon EOS digital SLR I decided to take my photography seriously.
I started Spearman Photography after an increasing number of people were asking me to take photographs for them. Now I take photographs at Weddings, Portraits for families, couples and individuals, Portfolios for models and performers, Headshots for actors, Publicity photographs and live Stage shows. Examples can be found on my In Pictures page. I also cover various Events and Special Occasions which will feature periodically in Gallery 8.
Last year I achieved a Licentiate Distinction with the Royal Photographic Society, the successful panel of photographs can be seen on my Home page.
My subjects are not always human, I often photograph Still Life subjects, Flowers, Wildlife, and anything else I find interesting. These photographs will also feature in Gallery 8 on my In Pictures page.
I'm often asked why I called the business Spearman Photography. The answer is; Barrie means a marksman or Spearman.
